The SB18 (Formerly SB600) uses a unique hybrid band pass design, to maximise the performance from a small enclosure, enabling this unit to produce the kick drum and low frequency digital audio of today's music. It features a custom-made dual voice 18" driver, for use in stereo or mono drive. Each of the inputs can be linked in parallel with another HE speaker to one side of a full-range stereo amplifier making a very effective small full-range PA system,
ideal for small bands and duos in clubs and dance halls, etc. The dual channel on the SB range can be linked together in parallel to provide a single 4ohm load.
Best results are achieved by using a separate amplifier to power the sub-bass and top enclosures, via the dedicated electronic crossovers featured in our SC range of system controllers
