The LDV115BA is the consistent refinement of the familiar LDV115B premium passive subwoofer. The integral Class-D power amp of the active subwoofer produces an output of 700 W RMS. The volume of the subwoofer can be adjusted using the SUB LEVEL control.
The amp module features a infinitely tuneable low-pass filter (SUB FREQ - 80 Hz to 200 Hz / 18 dB). When both R/L inputs are used, a mono sum signal is generated for the bass range. The unmodified input signal is output for driving other systems via the two R/L direct line outputs.
Active full-range systems or a corresponding power amp for passive tops can be driven via a fixed frequency 100 Hz / 18 dB high-pass output. An integral limiter protects the subwoofer against overloading. These features make the LDV115BA an ideal addition to the premium speaker line.
